EGO TO WEGO
The Ego to Wego project is an initiative to offer a welcoming space of openness an inspiration in a CARING and MULTICULTURAL ENVIRONMENT, preferably in NATURE where like-minded people can get together, get to know themselves and others, are seen and appreciated, can feel inspired and leave somewhat more in touch with themselves and therefore can take steps towards a more fulfilled life.

The philosophy of this project is a holistic one. Human beings are a part of NATURE and not separate. We are completely inseparable. NATURE can exist without us. We can’t exist without her.
Also being in a deeper connection with NATURE we might be lead to ask the question what it takes to live a purposeful and fulfilled life. How do we add to the well being of everybody and everything around us.
A journey back to what we stand for
What is our contribution to make this the place we would love to live in?
Living a purposeful life is often seen as a spiritual concept and as bound to some higher power. It isn’t. Our guide to our purpose is feeling alive, full of joy, fulfilled and in the flow because we love what we do and feel inspired most of the mornings when we get up.
Most destinations in this group are amazing spots of beauty with waterfalls, gorges, rivers, lakes, castles, cathedrals. bridges, mountains, volcanoes and many more …
Why is the group called INSPIRATION ADVENTURE TOURS?
After years of organising, guiding and facilitating tours, workshops and seminars we have seen that most participants leave the events inspired, more fulfilled and overflowing with unforgettable memories.
A journey back to healthy systems created by curious, creative, inspired and passionate people who love what they do.
Why EGO to WEGO?
Some time ago a participant thanked us the next morning after an event due to her experience on what had turned out to be a rain hike. We got soaked to the bones and needed to help each other to cross creeks where the stepping stones were immersed in water. We had to leap over streams in front of waterfalls and offer and receive a helping hand to and from each other.
She shared that she had woken up with the feeling of inspiration and fulfillment and how beautiful life was what she hadn’t experienced in some time.
She named the event: Ego to Wego since we seem to leave our egos behind when we are in service to others and walk together. Hence the name: EGO to WEGO.
Please notice that these events will include some activities in order to make it easier for all participants to get to know each other and connect on a deeper level. There will be two sharing circles. One at the beginning in order to introduce ourselves and get to know each other and one at the end in order to share our experience during the event and to make suggestions. There might also be team building activities which can be great fun.

The importance of the understanding of Mara
Recently we have stumbled upon the Buddhist concept of “Mara”, the Buddhist equivalent of what we call “ego”.
It is the enemy inside ourselves. What keeps us from getting back to ourselves.
Though it is fake, unreal, it exists, just like a mirage is only an illusion but it may cause people to react to it.
It is an entity that is born from who we really are but conquers the real self and drains our energy from an early time.
While our true selves feed on real things like food, water, air, “Mara”, since it is not real, cannot feed on real things. It feeds on ghostly concepts like the past, the future, or the false perception we have of insults, resentment, grievances, which all come from other Maras, as well as fear and anxiety over all of the above.
A journey back to our full potential
Mara & Liberation
From Ego to Wego is an intent to take steps in the direction of ridding ourselves of “Mara”. Our powers are limited but Nature might be of great assistance.
We aim to allow small steps of liberation to happen by immersing ourselves in an environment where we can be ourselves, one in which we can open up, an environment where we can feel connected, where we can be at our natural best, places where we can just be without a purpose, standing like a tree or flowing like a creek. We seek the natural settings where we don’t have to pretend to be somebody else, corners of Nature without expectations choking and weighing down our selves.
We want to grow the Ego to Wego project into a vast movement, by way of Nature events, by singing at the campfire and many other practices that bring us closer to ourselves. We love to see people join the movement and share their passion and energy for the betterment of our world.

Inspiration & Leadership
“The mind can be convinced but the heart must be won. Real leadership is based on inspiration not manipulation. Leadership is an education. And the best leaders think of themselves as the students, not the teachers. Leadership is not about being in charge. Leadership is about taking care of those in your charge.”
