Hike to Castle Haute Koenigsbourg – Alsace – France – 15 km

The event will only take place if 3 seats in my car are booked. I would appreciate other drivers to take passengers as soon as my car is full.

This time I would like to invite you to a hike and visit to the Castle Haute Koenigsburg in Alsace.

Event Details:

Length: 15 km, moderate level, 5 km up the slope at the start!!


Entrance fee for the castle is 9 euros for individuals and 7 euros for groups. Entrance is optional but recommended.

When and how to get there:

You can only get there by car. Please comment in the section below if you go by car and offer seats, need a seat or prefer to go alone. Before starting a new comments thread please read the comments section from top to bottom and answer in the same thread.

I offer 4 seats in my car. 17 euros per person. Please contact me by private mail with your phone number for fast contact and commitment.

Distance from Heidelberg Hbf is 195 km and travelling time a bit less than 2,5 hours.

Where to meet:

We’ll meet in Sainte Hypolite at 10.30 on the parking lot in Rue Schlossreben.

What to bring:

• A smile

• Sporty outfit adjusted to weather conditions (umbrella and / or rain coat if weather is unstable)

• Hiking boots or shoes with good traction for longer distances

• Nordic walking gear if you like

• Food and water for the time of the hike

• Solar protection for head and skin

• Something isolating to sit on
