What is Nature Resilience?

The word resilience means the capacity to be happy, successful, etc. again after something difficult or bad has happened.

The Tree of Resilience has 7 roots that reach deep into the ground to provide stability, strength and support.

They are:

  • Optimism
  • Acceptance
  • Mindfulness
  • Creative Solution Thinking
  • Goal-oriented action
  • Self-Efficacy
  • Human connection

In “Nature Resilience” nature supports us as a partner and is also the setting for the activities. Nature can also serve as an example to observe and learn because it is the source of everything seemingly living and therefore an example for resilience.

Nature also has a its source like everything else but that’s stuff for a different workshop.

In this workshop we will only concentrate on the last root about Human Connection which is the dearest and most important to us and has been so from the beginning of our project but the other roots might be added in further workshops with time.

Imagine we could be part of a group of people where most words spoken expressed appreciation towards the other ones. Words that were supportive and uplifting.

Imagine that we could be part of a group of people where we focussed on strengths, gifts and talents instead of shortcomings.

Imagine that we could be part of a group where we witnessed and honoured each other’s words and feelings without having an agenda with them and without trying to fix each other.

Imagine we could be part of such a healing environment. Isn’t that what we all are yearning for?

A place where we can simply be with what is alive in us without having to be different?

Imagine we could be part of a group where we said no, please and thank you in a way that doesn’t disrupt connection.

Imagine we could be part of a group experience where we show appreciation in a very different way that helps us to clearly discover our strengths, gifts, talents and maybe even our superpower and life’s purpose.

This workshop sets the foundation for becoming part of that group or for bringing it to life ourselves and for inspiring many others to relate in a very different way that creates connection and maybe, might change the course of humanity.

We will walk for 10 km in this event and will have numerous stops for the activities. While walking we are invited to socialise freely with the other participants. We will also have time to stop for taking pictures.

What to bring?

  • A smile
  • Sporty outfit adjusted to weather conditions (umbrella and / or rain coat if weather is unstable)
  • Hiking boots or shoes with good traction for longer distances
  • Backpack
  • An iso mat to sit on. Important!!!
  • Food and drink for the duration of the event
